In my recent appearance in the You Quiz show featured on national television, I was obsessed with perfection and only spoke words that people wanted to hear from me. I read every single comment on Youtube and became overly fixated on their perception of me. Incorporating this experience and Carl Jung's archetype persona notion, this artwork represents the pressure from public attention and my feelings from the moments of the You Quiz show.
In this sculpture, all the eyes that surround my face are watching me. And only the bottom part of the face is shown – pointing to the fact that I only spoke words that the audience wanted to hear in the TV show. As such, this artwork symbolizes the social pressure and public judgment I feel from my audience.
