This artwork portrays the complex influences of society, religion, environment, and consumer culture on my identity. The modern world’s perspective on these contexts intertwines with my own and eventually shapes my persona. Through layered collages containing different compositions, I aimed to depict the external forces that have influenced my personal growth and development, which eventually shaped both my sense of self and the societal expectations I feel obligated to meet.

The boxed layers represent incidents and experiences surrounding me, symbolizing the influence of external views on my self-perception.
